Targeting division upon program completion is Care Chemical division.

What You Will Do

Safety and compliance:

  • Ensure safety at the workplace & during business trips. Develop and implement preventive measures for distributors to ensure compliance as defined by the company’s Code of Conduct. 
  • Analyze EMU relevant industries for potential compliance and train distributors and channels in countries for Code of
  • Conduct of BASF with the channel management team.

Business result:

  • Analyze business optimization measures & tools to track and support distributor business results. 
  • Support strategy development to optimize EMU channel management for growth. 
  • Identify country specific industry focus with Channel management team, support decision for best go-to-market strategy together with the Channel management Head and prepare data as well as strategic decision-making process. 
  • Support EMU to develop and implement short-, mid- and long-term measures for distributors.

Sales development and efficiency, customer intimacy and satisfaction:

  • Develop and implement appropriate channel strategies to ensure effective and efficient coverage of all customer segments. 
  • Develop and implement resource deployment plans, sales management systems and tools at distributors to achieve high sales efficiency, e.g., account plans, sales pipelines, call reports etc. 
  • Through channel management, working with country sales to identify unmet market and customer needs to develop and implement ideas, projects and measures for additional value creation including product and business model innovation.

Market intelligence:

  • Competitor business and intelligence analysis as well as competitor go to market business model study. 
  • Support country to establish relationships with key stakeholders such as trade association, opinion leaders and partners to ensure BASF’s market position. 
  • Collaborate with Product Stewardship and other teams in RBU to ensure appropriate registration of required product portfolio Internal.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related disciplines.  
  • Master’s degree in related disciplines is a plus. 
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in economics/business settings. 
  • Highly proficient in English with excellent communications skills. 
  • Detail oriented and data driven mindset is essential.
