Engineering Management Intern

The Programme

The Engineering Management Intern will assist our APAC engineering team in rolling out HubSpot as a new CRM system.  
 
You will assist in aggregating the large amounts of information for shortlisting of greenfield projects, creation and comparison of scenarios for the purpose of project optimization and for tender evaluations and adjusting comparative tools will reduce the team’s workload. 
 
The internship position will be based in our Regional Head Office, Wireless Road, Bangkok, Thailand.              

What You Will Do

Support the implementation of a CRM system for engineering:

• The intern will transfer existing information on contractors and consultants in BayWa’s new CRM system. 
• The intern will conduct market research on companies relevant to the development and realization of wind projects in Thailand and Vietnam.

Support the technical analysis of wind projects:

• The intern will use and develop excel tools for the evaluation of technical information related to wind projects (e.g. work breakdown structure and bill of materials). 
• The excel tools are comparative charts, evaluation matrices and analytical models.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Third or Fourth-year undergraduate or an ongoing master’s degree in Engineering Management or equivalent program at an accredited university. 
• Enthusiasm about renewable energy projects. 
• Accurate handling of data and analytical approach to problem solving. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English. 
• Collaborate closely with team members in (Wind) Engineering department. 
• Knowledge of wind energy and construction industry is a strong advantage. 
• Experience with CRM systems and MS Excel is a strong advantage. 

Programme Period:

• Available for 4 to 6 months for 40 hours a week. 
• Others will be considered as appropriate.
