Internship - Physics - Technology Transfer Project

The Programme

In your new role you will:

• Participate in a technology transfer project and support the new local engineering team. 
• Support the hook-up and buy-off of highly automated production machines during the setup phase. 
• Validate results for the release of state-of-the-art production processes in a modern clean room environment. 
• Setup machine programs like recipes of production and quality test equipment. 
• Implement and mitigate production related master data in the new SAP system. 
• Support in the design of workplaces and production accessories. 
• Document relevant technical data and information to fulfill our high-quality system standard.

Internship learning outcomes:

• Gain overview of leading-edge technology in frame power module production. 
• Experience the setup of a completely new high-tech production line for high power electronic devices. 
• Obtain hands-on experience applying technical knowledge/skills towards production processes in a clean room environment. 
• Apply tools and methodologies in verification and buy-off of new highly automated production equipment on hardware and software level. 
• Apply data analysis, processing and creation of machine programs. 
• Experience ‘learning while doing’ in a dynamic and young local organization within a global semiconductor company. 
• Sharpen vital soft skills essential for future career proliferation after graduation in a safe environment.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor / Masters’ Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, material engineering, information technology or related course of study. 
• Have knowledge of measurement technology and data analysis. 
• Experience in programming. 
• Experience in using MS Office. 
• Like to work analytically and in a structured manner and value teamwork. 
• Have business fluent English skills. 
• Able to do internship from Nov 2024 onwards. 
• 12 positions available.
