Specialist - Procurement - Administration

The Programme

Responsible for identifying and procuring the goods and services that the organization requires.  
 
Find the right suppliers, negotiate prices and terms, and make agreements or contracts for purchase, create purchase orders tracking systems and ensure that all ordering processes conform to Purchasing procedures.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the procurement activities cover facility management, gases, IT, HR, security, and logistics. 
  • Execute and manage service contracts in a compliant way per procurement and direction. 
  • Monitor service contracts, renew, extend and conduct sourcing to maintain the service continuity for operations. 
  • Lead sourcing to achieve total cost of ownership (TCO) as well as negotiate for the best terms and conditions to accomplish cost effectiveness, delivery, and quality target through collaboration with stakeholder. 
  • Manage the competitive bidding processes, e-Auction and analyze cost breakdown to execute cost down activity, explore market in achieving the should cost model, cost effectiveness and bring in the qualified suppliers to strengthen the services delivery and product quality. 
  • Manage suppliers and perform risk management for all services contracts as well as responsible to evaluate, and secure advantageous terms. 
  • Manage supplier relationship and development to ensure proper implementation of supplier management process including phase in/out, evaluation, consequence with category managers and local business function leaders. 
  • Track KPI and performance (supplier cost, delivery, and quality performance) and develop actions to drive target achievement. Maintain monthly tracking and identify key actions together with stakeholders and category managers as necessary.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering. 
  • At least 0-3 years working experience in strategic or operational procurement role in any high-tech industry. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of global supply chain dynamics, procurement best practices. 
  • Strong leadership capabilities, problem-solving skills and knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques. 
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven and decision making. 
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, project management and interpersonal skills. 
  • Good English communication. 
  • Ethical and compliance-oriented approach to procurement practices. 
  • Computer literacy; Microsoft Office, ERP system.
