The team you'll be part of:

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

As a Digitalization & Automation Engineer, you will be part of Resources & Capability Management team to support APJ Local Delivery Organization (LDO) businesses. 

What You Will Do 

As part of our team, you will design, develop, operate & maintain an automated reporting system, building ad hoc reports, data analysis, dashboards, managing needs for exports & models of data, and coordinating with various data supply teams to get new data available for the business to use.

You will be accountable on the following (but not limited to) areas:

  • Collaborate with resources and capability management team to design and develop business reporting, implement solutions for data analysis, reporting, and integration projects across SharePoint, Web Analytics, and other automation systems.
  • Independently manage reporting requests, producing work to be utilized by stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain integration solutions for automated reporting and visualization systems using Office Apps including PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps, List, Form, etc., and various database connectivity such as MS-SQL or MySQL, etc.
  • Manage and improve our data warehouse and database systems. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

You shall have:

  • A degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience (Fresh Graduate or less than 2 years of experience).
  • Experience developing custom scripts and tools using HTML, CSS, XML, Rest, JSON, Python, Bash, or any other scripting language.
  • Experience working with BI or visualization and analysis tools (Excel, Macro, VBA, PowerBI, Tableau, QLIK, etc.) to create efficient and accurate reports.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Web Development, especially under SharePoint.
  • Fluent in English – both written and verbal. 

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Familiarity with Linux/UNIX operating system.
  • Familiarity with container solutions (Docker/Kubernetes) will be seen as an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex information to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and work across multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
