The Programme

About our group:

Product Performance Engineering - The use of scientific knowledge and formal systems to find practical solutions to daily problems.  
 
Consists of working with direct complex operations geared toward gaining efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.  
 
We work closely with Seagate Customer Qualification and Sustaining, Seagate's HDD Design Center, and HDD manufacturing factory in Thailand. 
 
About the role - you will:

• Manages production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production. 
• Interfaces with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems. 
• Sustains products with cost reduction and yield improvements. 
• Provides management direction of all phases of a product from manufacturing introduction to completion. 
• Initiate new tools and/or techniques to support data analysis function to work faster or smarter.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Good problem-solving skills. 
• Good Engineering verification and evaluation skills. 
• Understand color theory and human visual perception. 
• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them. 
• High degree of independent judgement. 
• Fluent in English
