The Programme

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic.  
 
The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.  
 
The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices. 

What You Will Do

• Developing big data models, reports, dashboards, analysis and some automation (will be generally with SPARK, SQL, PYTHON, EXCEL, in-House tools). 
• Assisting the various business units as a discussion partner to plan, strategize, and grow business by enabling data-driven decision-making. 
• Serving as in-consultant who simplifies complex terminologies into more understandable insights to our internal clients. 
• Producing actionable insights that will be used to support or devise new strategies.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Fresh Graduate - master's or bachelor's degree in any field with the knowledge of stack used or up to 2 years' experience. 
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude. 
• Experience working with one or more languages for querying (e.g. SQL, PYTHON, Py Spark). 
• Excel is a must and Py Spark is a plus. 
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across various divisions. 
• Ability to make inferences from data and devise an appropriate course of action. 
• Time management to deliver deadlines. 
• Satisfactory communication of English. 
• Comfortable working with large data sets and numbers.
