Visual Merchandising Intern - 2023 Rookie Program - Jul-Dec

The Programme

The Visual Merchandising Intern will be responsible for supporting the in-store communication, strategies, and projects of Under Armour.  
 
He/she will have the opportunity to embark on a 360° learning journey and become a part of the team behind the UA Visual Merchandising (VM) department. 
 
Areas of Learning & Responsibilities:

VM (Wholesale) Project:

• Responsible for the VM design and setup with the wholesale team. 
• Perform store visits and provide guidance to retail teammates. 
• Asset Coordination & Management. 
• Manage in-store Campaigns. 
• Design strategies and develop the key story, material research, final mechanicals, and implementation. 

VM Retail Projects:

• Responsible for the VM design and setup with the retail teammates. 
• Manage brand projects, product launches, and store displays, with frequent store visits to upkeep maintenance. 
• Ensure that the visual merchandising guidelines adhere to brand image and standards.

What exposures will you gain by the end of the internship?

• Exposure to the foundation of Visual Merchandising. 
• Ability to understand and gain hands-on experience to support retail & wholesale. 
• How to communicate across a diverse organization with many different function, cultures, geographies, and preferences

Required Skills and Abilities

• Has a strong interest in VM, Fashion & Sports/Fitness (considering a future career in this industry). 
• A keen learner who is creative & detail-oriented, resourceful & driven. 
• Understands the need for ownership and possesses a sense of urgency. 
• Able to work with a team/independently where needed. 
• Willing to listen, include and respect the beliefs of teammates. 
• Proficiency in Adobe Design/ Sketchup / Microsoft Office suite/ with a focus on Excel & PowerPoint as well.
