Job Title: Formulation R&D Intern 
Report to: Formulation SEA and R&D Lead 
Duration: 4-6 Months (Start from Jan 2024 onwards) 
Business Unit: Beauty & Wellbeing 
Work Location: Unilever Minburi Plant (Nikom Ladkrabang)

What You Will Do

• Support technical management and product development of innovation and R&D center projects. 
• Maintain effective and timely communication of project status with business partners. 
• Undertake research to understand what consumers want and need and develop technology and science to bring new innovations to life. 
• Develop innovative and creative product demonstrations, claims, and communications by integrating technical expertise with business acumen in marketing and sales. 
• Plan, coordinate & execute lab, pilot plant works of his/her projects. 
• Responsible for integrity of specifications and formulations in specification management system 
• Ensures effective interface with Unilever factories in driving implementation of new products and processes. 
• In close co-ordination with the processing and supply chain teams, develop manufacturing processes to scale the product manufacture from lab to pilot to main plant. 
• Help to make our brands even healthier, more appealing, more efficient and more environmentally friendly – improving our products in any way possible. 
• Ensure the compliance of the work to the Unilever Code of Business Principles.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science such as Cosmetics/ Food Science, or Chemistry and related field. 
• Strong interest in beauty and wellbeing product formulation and development. 
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software tools.
