Quality Intern - Compliance

The Programme

As a Quality Intern at Unilever, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in ensuring the quality and safety of our products within the fast-paced FMCG industry.  
 
Working closely with our Quality Assurance team, you will contribute to various aspects of quality control processes and assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. 
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. 
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, including documentation control and record-keeping. 
• Support product testing and analysis activities, including sensory evaluations, laboratory testing, and shelf-life studies. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, R&D, and Supply Chain, to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality non-conformances, helping to identify and address underlying causes. 
• Assist in conducting internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality assurance within the FMCG sector.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Studying Bachelor's degree program in Science, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, or related field. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in quality-related tasks. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new software applications. 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the Quality Assurance team.
